GGL2 (milestone 5):

Steps to use GGL2 (milestone 5) version with gvSIG:

Download and install gvSIG 1.11.
Download the GGL2 plugin for gvSIG (gvSIG plugin, below).
Unzip the plugin and copy the org.gvsig.ggl2.gvsig-extension into <gvsig_folder>/bin/gvSIG/extensiones.
Download the GGL2 environment (for Windows and Linux).
Unzip the GGL2 environment.
Start both gvSIG and GGL2.
Type and execute some GGL2 code in the GGL2 editor. See some tutorials.

Yes, that old GIS application with a SQL like language. It can be downloaded here. It was quite stable and it had a rich SQL-like language to geoprocess (GGL1), but it is no longer maintained.
